February Lab Reflection

I chose to do my reflection on the breakfast cookies lab because I feel it’s a good treat to have, especially since it’s a cookie made with many nutritional and healthy ingredients. I personally enjoyed the lab because during the whole period, everyone in my group was doing something. Whether it was cleaning or helping with making the cookies, no one was standing around. The cookies turned out exactly how they were suppose to which enabled me to have a positive opinion on them, they weren’t too big, too small, under-cooked or overcooked. My group and I did an excellent job with the production of the cookies. What helped us, is making sure we did the correct steps and did the same things we saw in the demo and we also kept a close eye on the cookies when they were in the oven to make sure they didn’t burn. My group and I worked really well together, we all were willing to help and knew what had to be done and did it as soon as we could. Also, when one of us had a question, the rest were willing to answer! If I was to do this lab again at school, I wouldn’t change anything because of how it turned out the first time, but, if I was to do this again at home I would try adding in different nuts or dried fruit instead of sunflower seeds and raisins, just to see how they would taste with different ingredients added to them.
