Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s learning to dance in the rain. That one sentence, although not much, shapes my every day. Sometimes life isn’t always sunny, and you just have go outside and dance in the rain, make the best of the situation. In my case, this quote is a great example of my life as sometimes, I will quite literally go and dance in the rain. Dance is my passion; for me, it is more than just a hobby. It is without a doubt, the sun that shines through the clouds above my head. I have been dancing since day one. Not as serious as I am now, but I have always had it in me. I currently train at Pulse Dance Center more than thirty hours a week. Many people ask me how I manage to do more dance than school, but my answer is always the same; it makes me happy. Some day I aspire to be a professional dancer, traveling this incredible world of ours. Maybe even one day Italy, my dream destination. How I dream of drifting down lazy rivers, eating chocolate under the sun, to then go and spend the night doing what I enjoy most.

Lastly, I would just like to acknowledge all the incredible people I have in my life right now. I wouldn’t be where I am without you. I have an amazing mom, dad and brother who all support me more than I could ever ask for. I also can’t forget about my dance family. The picture to the left shows my team and I. These people all mean so much to me, thank you for encouraging me and building me up every single day.
