Three Reasons Why They Should Have Fought in the Bar

In the book, when the Moose went to a bar after the game in Chapleau, northern Ontario. When the teams were waiting for the odder, some white men came in the bar, they swore to them. Much worse, those white people brought the Moose out of the bar one by one, hit, kicked, and pissed on them…

But what if they did not go out to let them do such terrible things that made everyone got hurt not only bleeding outside but also felt ashamed inside the heart too. What if they fought back?

Hockey players are strong, and they have more people

Where ever the Moose went to play hockey games, they always got hit on purpose, which means they were strong enough to have a real fight. Although there were eight white people with axe handles; the Moose was twelve, they should be able to handle those drunkards.

There were police officers outside the bar

I supposed the police officers would stop the fight If they really had one, then they could stay away for those people at least for a while that was long enough to finish the food. However, the police officers would not come,  the situation could go back to the one upon.

They could have a story about how they against the racist society

Although they walked out the door proudly and brave, they felt ashamed after; sometimes they thought they deserved the treatment. No one would want to talk about it. But if they fought back, it was still a way to show their brave, no matter how the result was, they could always have a story to tell; they stayed together and fought back with white people, against the racist society.
