Fresh Periodic Table

Some of my groups questions were; How will we organize the project and our time? How could we make it more visually appealing? where could we meet outside of school if we need more time?

We wanted to be unique and we came up with many ideas including; Advent calendar, interactive? could we make it into a children’s  book? could we make it in mine craft?

My group decided to make the periodic table , more visually appealing, and easier to study. By doing that we made a laboratory flask shape with poster board paper and filled it with all 118 of the elements. We cut up pieces of paper and folded them to make flash cards of sorts.

You see the symbol and on some (depending on who made the particular card) the atomic number. and by using that you them try to see if you know the number of neutrons, electrons and protons, what the Bohr model would look like or what its used for.

I think it would have been better if we planed how to make the cards better, and and lined them up better on the flask, and spent class time a bit better.

  1. Thanks for your explanation of how you used the solution fluency to re-imagine the periodic table. Great work including media showing what your periodic table looks. I see some reflection on the process.
