Poem analysis info-graphic

Here is my info-graphic for my poetry analysis for the poem stranger by Gord Downie. He wrote a series of poems about residential schools. The one I choose was about how residential school would change there identity. It is written from the perspective of a 12 year old boy who goes to residential school who’s identity has been changed. He now feels like a stranger to himself. He is a new person who he does not even know. It is a poem with a lot of emotions and a powerful message.

  1. Thank you for posting the Poetry Infographic Project. I have some observations regarding this piece on a technological perspective.

    – Editing and overall presentation is extremely well done
    – Extremely creative layout of information that is aesthetically pleasing
    – Looks professional in format (replicates the medium of an infographic)
    – Information is detailed, with emphasis on graphics and not too much text
    – Multiple categories explain the poem in a straight forward technique (could have made the top section more clear)
    – Properly posted on your edublog!

I hope that you enjoyed doing this project and learnt not only about poetry, but also how to use a new technological tool!
    Thank you,

    1. Thanks Mr. Barazzuol, I had done an info graphic before, but I did not know how to use all the cool tools we used. Thanks for taking the time to look over it.
