Observation and Conclusion
The challenge of this experiment was to design a boat that will float and hold as many pennies as possible. If the boat has a small but thick base it will hold more pennies because it will be stable. The boat that held the most pennies was the biggest boat. The more space the pennies had to go, the easier it was for the boat to float. Our model was to have high walls, a small base, marshmallows as floatation devices and sticks around the frame. Sadly, it only held 32 pennies. Next time, building a bigger base with more area for the pennies to go would definitely be ideal.
