Propaganda poster

My propaganda poster

I made this propaganda poster to highlight Boxer. In the latest chapter we read, we learnt that boxer is the hardest worker on the farm. Every morning he wakes up and tells himself “I will work harder”. This poster pushes the animals to act and follow boxer. This poster could be an example of “Plain folks”, “bandwagon”, “card stacking” and “fear”. It is an example of “plain folks” because it shows Boxer as being a normal horse. It also says “follow boxer” at the end which shows that you can also be like Boxer, all you need to do is follow him. This poster also portrays “Bandwagon” because it is convincing you to join boxer in his efforts. “Follow Boxer” makes you want to work just as hard as him. This poster also includes “card stacking”. I believe it shows card stacking because it is using Boxer’s best argument which is “I will work harder” against everyone else. It shows that not everyone is working as hard as he is. If you red between the lines, you could say that it says “Follow Boxer because nobody works as hard as him”. Last but not least, I could also consider this “Fear”. I think it’s fearful because of the image. The horse is up on two legs and looks strong. Creating fear for the animals that if they don’t join him, they good end up hurt. image
