What are some things that were challenging?

As I’ve already used my free trial of Photoshop, I had to resort to the old, sketchy Photoshop 12 saved as a torrent on my dad’s computer. Figuring out the keyboard shortcuts and working around the old interface proven to be a challenge.

What are some things that worked well?

Once I figured out how to add the eraser to the toolbar, the actual “photoshopping” portion was quite easy. I was able to position myself just how I wanted to, and although I didn’t manage to get the lighting to quite match, I was able to complete the task quite quickly.

What did you learn? How can you apply this?

Although unintentionally, I learned how to use the 2013 version of photoshop, but also got a bit of practice in with the lasso tool. It was good to get a refresher as most green screen projects I do are videos, and I definitely need to use something other than Premier sometimes! I’ll be able to use Photoshop in a variety of assignments or even personal projects where I need to alter the setting.
