Using either Tables in MS Word or cells in Excel you will create your own crossword puzzle. Your puzzle must have a minimum of 12 words across and 12 words down. All your words should fit within a general theme. Be sure to create good clues for each of your words. All the clues will be written out below the puzzle. Some clues can be fill in the blank, others can be generic clues.
For your crossword the area within the puzzle that does not have letters should be filled in with black so that players know not to write anything in those boxes. All other boxes should have proper borders so players know how many letters each word has. Be sure to fill in the correct number for each clue in the first letter box of each word.

Rants, raves, and random thoughts
Your task is to write 3 separate rants, raves, or random though paragraphs/mini essays. You can write about any topic that would be considered school appropriate. This is an opportunity to express yourself in an open environment. Each rant, rave or random thought must be exactly 550 words. Use the word counter to keep track. Within each separate item you must include at least 3 pictures that go with your item. You can write in any style that you wish (paragraph, essay, poem, fictional story, screenplay, etc.).
Be creative and enjoy the process.
