Digital Footprint

I think that when people look for my digital footprint they wont find much of anything, and here’s why. When googling myself only three sites show up and two of them are citadel middle school student names lists, but ins not very surprising I have a very uncommon name. I also don’t use any type of social media platform, the only time I have ever posted a photo of myself was in 2019 after I went to Universal studios but not a day later I deleted the photo. The only other place I can think of that have photos of me are my mothers Facebook page, but she never shares my name and we don’t share the same last name so anyone who doesn’t really know me won’t know its me. Although if you do find the face book page and know its me all you will really learn is that we travel a lot and visit many different places, oh and yeah we take photos on Christmas mourning. That’s why I think people wont really find much on me if they look for my digital footprint.

Q.1: I think my digital footprint will not effect my future opportunities in many ways because I don’t have photos on the internet of myself  with my name attached to them and if there were any I am sure they wouldn’t effect much because I don’t do many stupid things, I always think before I do and I don’t end up doing some I will regret. So unless in the future I start doing dumb things and uploading them to the internet I don’t think my opportunities are effected to much.

Q.2: Three strategies I use to keep my digital footprint safe are, not having any social media accounts that share my name or anything from my personal life. The second one is making sure to think before I do, because some times people end up doing dumb things that get recorded and uploaded to the internet, and videos like that can ruin anybody’s image, for example you might be at a party drinking before you are old enough to and that might be recorded and uploaded, you can get in a lot of trouble for stuff like that. The third strategy I use is being introverted. As an introvert you don’t talk to many people or go to many gatherings, or share stuff about yourself on the internet. This is one of the main reasons my digital footprint is safe and clean.

Q.3: This is the final question, before you start reading it I need to apologize if I ramble on about the same thing for to long, there is just not much to talk about here for me, thank you.

The information I learned is that on face book apparently my father is 69 years old (he’s 44) so that was interesting, and the one other thing I learned is that I did a great job of keeping my footprint safe, so I don’t have to worry about people researching me very much. Thank you for reading and please leave any of your comments below, I would love to see if I made and mistakes or misjudgments about my digital footprint.
