My digital footprint is important, because it is what defines me online. If a future employer or anyone looks me up and finds something unsatisfactory, it could affect my future goals and plans. If I want to keep my digital footprint safe I can think twice about what I put out online because once something is posted on the internet it can never be truly deleted. I can make sure I’m not tagged in anything that could affect my footprint and lastly I can occasionally look myself up to see what others might see and correct anything I find unsatisfactory. I have to be aware of what I put out there and so should everyone else!
