She burrows her sun kissed toes into the meadow of gold and lifts the corners of her grin in glee. The perpetual skies of summer are buckled with delicate clouds as they flare up in a luminous, neon-blue when the water takes them. Looking back at the boat it bobs in the incoming tide, like a toy in a bath. Her nose burns in the scolding air, and she squints against the sun reflecting on the blue sheet of glitter-dipped glass delicately spread across her vision. The sweet scent of sunscreen and coconut envelopes her, and the oils on the coat of her skin flicker beneath the orb of fire in the heavens. The salty sting enduring in her misty braids that sporadically caress her tongue, sooth her. She is lost for words.The once sapphire and bountiful canopy, transfigures into a beautiful Phoenix that spreads his wings around the globe. This apocalyptic aura sends parcels of serotonin into the air and the slight chill hugs her with warmth. The white curtains swaying by her window, flutter in sync with the palm trees twinkling on the dance floor, while the rose and lavender lights gleam upon them. The distant waves slicing the shore play an elegant orchestra that tickle her ear drums. The feather touch of the vigorous gale cuddles her senses and hypnotizes her eyes to shut. She can sense the distant golden coin slipping away from her embrace, into the dark pocket of the twilight.
