in class, we skyped with Charis and she explained every question with a lot of detail which i liked. i did learn more about stem cells because of her.
This is the cell before mitosis
This is the first part of mitosis, this is called a prophase.
- replicated DNA molecules join together to forma sister chromatids
this is the second part of mitosis this is called metaphase
- the chromosomes line up in the middle of the cell
this is the third part of mitosis, this is called anaphase
- unite the sister chromatids and move the 2 halves of each chromosome away from each other to opposite sides of the cell
this is the fourth and final part of mitosis called telophase
- spinal fibres disappear and 2 nuclear membranes form
