First they came from the African-Americans

and I did not speak out

because I was not an African American.

Then they came for the homosexuals

and I did not speak out

because I was not a homesexual.

Then they came for the immigrants

and I did not speak out

because I was not an immigrant.

Now when will they come for me

because I was too busy and too indifferent

to defend my sisters and brothers?
