A) You might not be able to get certain jobs in the future because of the stuff that you have posted online. The manger can find stuff online that you have posted or commented on social media. You might not be able to get the job because of stuff the manager found on the internet and then the manager can decide not to hire you.

A) If you are applying for a collage or university they will look you up on the internet and find stuff about you. The school could find post’s or somebody that has posted something and that person could make you not get in to the school. The school can find stuff on the internet and take away your scholarship or decide not to let you in to the school.

A) There are many different ways that you can use to keep your online footprint appropriate and safe. When you make an account online you could not use your real name as your usernames for your accounts. When you post or comment on something on social media you can make sure that your post is appropriate to post. You can sure not to share any personal information online.

 

Q) What information did you learn that you would pass on to other students? 

A) I would tell them to be careful of what they post or comment online. Because you never know how that could be used against you for getting jobs or getting into schools or lose your scholarship. Also that even if you did not post it but you still know the person it could make you not get in the school and lose your scholarship or make you not get your job.
