These screenshots show how the game looks and is designed, there is picture of me mixing the chemicals and there is picture of where you get the chemicals from.

Deliver: My app review is about ChemCrafter. It is a very well made app, it has no glitches and it doesn’t freeze. The game is about you getting new chemicals so you can mix and make new chemicals. The app helps you learn formulaes for the periodic table. It has levels for different formulaes which comes along with harder difficulty, more complex chemicals and formulaes. It shows somewhat realistic reaction other then the fact it cartoon, gives you bigger reaction for elements like alkali metals. ChemCrafter also helps you learn about elements on the periodic table and their reactiveness. It also teaches you safety tips around chemicals. I found myself playing this game longer then I expected too. After looking at the only review for this game the person seemed to like the game. I recommend this game for anyone wanting to learn about chemicals in a fun cartoon way.
Debrief on game: I wish the app showed the periodic table in the game showing what elements you are mixing and allowed you to free play and mix anything to see the results.
Debrief on review: I wish that I played game longer to finish other levels and different books (book=rank/mixing chemical levels) so I could give a better more detailed review. I could have looked deeper into the game to give the best out come and review.

  1. Hello Kai, I loved how the app implemented the factors of the different and bigger reactions depending on which elements you mix together. A question I would like to ask is about how the levels are organized, as you had said, as you progress the levels get more difficult, by that would you mean the formulae that you need to create get more intricate? As in do you need to mix more elements in the higher levels? Those are all the questions I have. Great review, I’ll be sure to check out the app to see how it works!

  2. You have submitted a very thorough review. I like how you included all the parts of solution fluency. The screenshots help tell your story but could use some captions to describe what is going on in them. I appreciate your honest debrief at the end for both the app and your process.
