Statistics are used to calculate the importance of something, compare two things with each other and make decisions.
Statistics help us look at the bigger picture, and help us decide by using other people.
Statistics can be used to make false and misleading arguments. They can be easily fraud. Since they use numbers they have an air of authority around them to make them less suspicious than most people play video games now with stats 47% of the American population are playing video games in this era.
Most often statistics are taken by a group made from a large number of people whether it’d be voluntary or random and then assuming that the larger number of people has the same opinions as the smaller group as the sample. if we ask 50 people if they play video games and 27 of them say yes we would say 54% of the population plays video games. It would not be surprising to find out that out of the entire population 77% or 20% play video games.
