So here is an example. If we have a problem like (x+a)(x+b).If someone who doesn’t know the pattern will solve the problem by multiplying 4 times and add the all result.
But if we solve the question a lot, we can know that the answer of these kind of questions always ends in this form. x^2 + (a+b)x + ab.
(x+a)(x+b). and the answer was x^2 + (a+b)x + ab
if we use the formula like that(x^2 + (a+b)x + ab), we can solve the problems more easy then before.
