Week 4

 

Week 4 – we learned how to determine the length of sides.

If we want to solve the problems well, we have to know what kind of formula we’re going to use it.If we want to know the length of H, we need to use “COS” to solve the problem.  (Because we know the length of Adjacent and angle of X.)

Cos(angle “X”)= length of A/length of H (the formula to solve the problem in this case.)

From here, we don’t know the length of H so we have to move the H to left. That mean the “Cos(angle”X”) is going to move to the place where X was.

H=length of A/Cos(angle”X”)    and then we use calculator to solve it! type (length of A) divide by Cos(angle”X”) = length of H!!
