1.What is your personality type?
My personality type is the Advocate. The Advocate personality is someone who is empathetic, imaginative, creative and is someone who cherishes their integrity and deeply held principles. Although Advocates have many positive characteristics, Advocates can be easily tripped up in areas where their idealism and determination are more of a liability than an asset.
2. Three words to describe you
Three words that would describe me in accordance to the survey are determined, decisive and insightful.
Determined– Advocates will often come to believe that if something is important, they will pursue their goal with a conviction and energy that can catch others off-guard.
Decisive– Advocates’ creativity, insight, and inspiration are able to have a huge impact on the world. Advocate’s are able to follow through on their ideas with conviction, willpower, and the planning necessary to see complex projects through to the end.
Insightful– Advocates step past manipulation and sales tactics and into a more honest discussion. Advocate personalities always see how people and events are connected.
3. What you can learn from having a strong personal awareness of yourself and others?
Knowing how your personal strengths and weaknesses will contribute to future interactions, whether it be social or academic. This will help contribute to a better work ethic and stronger self-confidence in a choice of profession and how you can improve on personal goals and challenging yourself to be the best possible version of yourself.
4. Why are these tests flawed?
Most of the time, surveys and tests such as 16 personalities will give loads of information about yourself. Most people will assume that it is true or will completely disagree with the given result. I believe it would be more beneficial to take multiple surveys/ tests regarding psychological characteristics and compare the results while contrasting the points you believe are true and differentiating what may be false about yourself.
