To Recap – Adding Polynomials:

1. Remove the brackets
2. Collect like terms
3. add like terms together to simplify

To Recap – Subtracting Polynomials

1. When you subtract a negative integer you add the opposite
2. Apply adding rules

ex.   (2x + 7) – (6x – 2)

= 2x + 7 – 6x +2)

= – 4x +9
