The October 22nd attack in Ottawa received world wide attention after another gruesome incident just days prior.  While it is contested whether or not the act was that of a “terrorist” or simply that of a criminal, the acts served to strike terror in the hearts of many.  Now that the shock of the incident has settled, it is a good time to reflect upon the impact of the event.
