The most iconic atomic bomb

The event that took place in Hiroshima on August 6th, 1945, may be considered the most iconic bombing of all time. Whether it was justified or not, this bombing happened, and gave the Japanese a reason to surrender 10 days later. This event is quite interesting to me because the allies may not have needed this attack to provoke a surrender. It is somewhat funny to me because the code name for the attack was “little boy”. The author discusses more so the Japanese side of the bombing and uses good imagery when discussing the topic. This article gives the reader a good idea of what was going on in Japan at the time and how people reacted. Not only does the author explain this in detail, but also the aftermath of what happened.
