British governing policy

British Government

as a British Official, I realize there are many Alternatives to governing Quebec. I have chosen the policy of Status Quo to ensure the colony is properly run. If we give the French what they want, Let them live there life and don’t disturb them. We can still do what we want, trade, farm, and live life. We also can build an Alliance and join together, and have no fear of getting attacked. We can share our riches and live a life we wish to have. We do not have to follow the French law we would still different colonies we just can live in peace. As I have outlined above, I beleive the best policy for governing Quebec is Status Quo. This will Ensure that the colony will remain under British Control and provide wealth for our glorious country.

First People’s Pricibles of Learning

Learning ultimately supports the well-being of the self, the family, the community, the land, the spirits and the ancestors.

When we Biocumulate the world with fossil fuels, Green house gasses, and cutting down trees. The interconnectedness of the self, the family, the community, and our earth makes it so it affects opus at many different levels.

Learing involves recognizing the consequences of ones actions.

An example of this is the bioaccumulation of our earth, will our earth be able to handle pollutions or, will we face consequences of our pollution. Will our earth be able to sustain itself while we are polluting? Or will we learn from the consequences.

Water cycle

If we keep polluting with greenhouse gases the world will heat up a lot, and water will evaporate. It will especially effect dry places, because it will not rain and then they will have no food or water.

Oceans are rising so that affects flooding, and polar bears.

Again we are affecting our earth so it affect us too.

You Can

You Can

“All your life you are told the things you cannot do.
All your life they will say you’re not good enough
or strong enough or talented enough;
they will say you’re the wrong height or the wrong weight or the wrong type to play this or be this or achieve this.
THEY WILL TELL YOU NO,
a thousand times no, until all the no’s become meaningless.
All your life they will tell you no, quite firmly and very quickly.
AND YOU WILL TELL THEM YES.” –Lebron James

“Yo, DeMarcus want tah go study wit me n Keyshawn?” Asks Jamal ,”Kevin says at 4 he can take y’all and I to the indoor gym back near downtown, I really don’t want to freeze out here in the courts, also Kevin got a nice whip, it’d be dope to go, I call aux.”

“Yeeee I’m down.” Says Demarcus,” do we really have to do homework.”

“Want to live like dis, in west Detroit livin on no food, waking up each morning scared you gonna die, scared for yo life, do yo homework now and succeed later, if you ain’t starving wit me you ain’t feasting wit me!”

“I hear you,” says DeMarcus,”What about Kevin, he’s now in the rich money gang.”

“People want him dead…”Keyshawn adds.

*Keyshawn, Deshawn, and Jamal here a loud engine roll up

“Dat must be Kevin!” Keyshawn stated while walking out of the library into the parking lot.

“Wheeeew that’s nice,” adds Deshawn with an impressed look.

“Hop in boyzzzzz,” yells Kevin.

Kevin grew up with Keyshawn, Deshawn and Jamal, in the same building, they live in the projects. An area were the government makes cheaper housing, because in the area people don’t have much money. Over the years Kevin got caught up in gang activity to get more money.

*Arrives at the gym

“Yo it’s packed!”says Kevin as they all walk in the gym.

“Indeed it is,” Jamal says,”I like it more when it is empty with just us.

“Look on the bright side,” says Keyshawn in a happy tone. Keyshawn was always positive even though he probably had the toughest life at home. He understood that he has to make the best out his young years in order to succeed. When you’re mean you’re wasting your time doing bad stuff that effects you.”Maybe we’ll make friends, or Jamal might postalize sum duuuude.”

“Hahahaha I’m not dat good,” Jamal says with a lack of confidence and disbelief.

“Are you kidding me! Your one of the best in the state of Michigan, you averaged 33.4 points last season 64% from the field and 44% from the 3, you can do anything!” Deshawn says with integrity and a bit of frustration.

“Ya and 1.8 blocks a game, 12 rebounds a game n 1 steal a game, plus you grew like 4 inches over the summer, and you finally got 360 dunks down.” Says Keyshawn in a frustrated tone but he was still positive about it,” You could go on and play college ball, maybe go pro, get money for your family provide for them.” Jamal is extraordinary, he plays shooting guard and is 6’8 in grade 12.

“But what if I don’t!” Blurts Jamal in a furious voice,”What if I don’t…”

“You have to work for it man, we got you.” Keyshawn says trying to calm him down. They enter the gym and go to the bench and put on the shoes Kevin bought for em. Keyshawn has Jordan 11 Gamma blues, Deshawn has Lebron solider 9s, Jamal has Chicago colour Jordan 11 Jamal’s favourite player is MJ (Michael Jordan), and Kevin Black on Black Lebron 13s.

Once they get there shoes on they go off and shoot, “Jamal do 20 3s in a row.” Deshawn says to Jamal.

Jamal gives him a weird look,”Are you crazy I can’t do that!” Jamal argues.

A man overheard their conversation,”Yes you can.” The man said with confidence and certainly gave Jamal confidence.

Those 3 words changed Jamal’s life,”You heard him Jamal you can!” Shouts Kevin trying to pump him up.

More people heard and more starting to say,”YOU CAN!”

The man said directly to Jamal,”I watched you last season, you reminded me of me when I was a kid, the biggest mistake I made in my life was I didn’t believe. I saw you sink threes like it was nothing, 1 after another. You are capable of making it to the NBA maybe being in the hall of hame, but not if you don’t think you can. You don’t know what your capable of until you try because when I was your age I was promised a scholarship to North Carolina, LSU you name it, but I didn’t think I was good enough until I dropped out of school and now I’m 30 years old without a good paying job. Believe me in this, and believe in yourself, the name is Koroldo.”

“Oh man you’re the dude who used to drop 40 like it was nothing, I wondered what happened to him.” Keyshawn adds.

“20 shots, I CAN do this!” Says Jamal pumping himself up.

People say yea in the background agreeing with Jamal, emerging stops what they are doing to watch Jamal shoot.

“Ready,” says Jamal as he sighs, Keyshawn gets under the hoop to rebound. “Swish,” People start clapping,” Swish,” yawww yell his friends,” Swish, swish, swish, swish, swish, swish, swish, swish, swish, swish, swish ,swish, swish,”The place is quiet no one wants to interrupt Jamal,”Swish,” The whole place is nervous,”Swish,” 3 more to go,”Swish,” The crowd is fully engaged,”swish,” 1 more to go!”Swish,” The whole place is going crazy, Jamal did it!

“That’s the power of believing.” Says Koroldo as he leaves the gym.

“Let’s go and celebrate and get some chicken,” says Keyshawn in happy tone as always.

“Sounds like a plan,” says Kevin,” you in Demarcus?”

“Yawww, of course!,” answers Demarcus,”wait where’d Jamal go? Oh never mind he’s over there shooting. Keyshawn wanna go get chicken with us?”

“Nah, ima play ball, but could y’all get myself some garlic wings for me.” Says Jamal in delight.

“30 garlic wings coming right up for my future Hall of Fame Dawg, hahahahaha,” Says Kevin as he laugh.

“Have a great time, y’all the best,” says Jamal as they leave.

That night Jamal learned he had to believe in his god given talent in order to succeed the most, That season the team went undefeated and went to the state championship and won. Jamal was the #1 prospect in Michigan and maybe even in the whole Country. He averaged 35 points per game a succeeded in all of the categories. He ended up getting a full ride scholarship to Duke, Keyshawn got offered a scholarship to Kansas and took it, Deshawn also went to Kansas, and Kevin left the gang and took the beating, and got to North Carolina University.

*April 24th, 2018 – the NBA draft.
“Hello ladies and gentle men, today you will witness young talent enter the NBA, With the first pick of the NBA draft the Toronto raptors select, the 6’8 point guard from Duke, Jamal Thomas.”

Jamal ends up making it to the NBA, he hires Koroldo as a trainer because he is the one who helped him get to where he is today.

Kevin is now working in Toronto as a Heart surgeon.

Keyshawn lives in Toronto too, but drives out too Detroit for work because it’s close and he help kids in the community.

Deshawn is Jamal’s agent.

All of them stay in touch till this day, they all live I good life, because they believed and still believe they can do anything through good, and if they put in the work.

Hybrid Car Project Reflection

The model shows how a hybrid car works, it is easy to understand.

Honestly I think I did 40% and Kai did 60%. But it worked out good because I got the information and Kai did it on the paper. What I would change is, Kai and I would gather Information then when we got information we come up with a plan to execute the information in a diagram. Then do it.

Science App Reveiw

Define: I need an app everything is easier to find and easier to learn about the periodic table.

Dream: I want an app that I don’t have to go into my binder and get my periodic table, I need a periodic table I can tap the screen twice a get what I need. Also I need something I could play around with and learn from. An app that if I need to learn something about an element it gives me all the information, an app the elements are really easy to find. I can learn everything I need to know quick, easily and fun.

This a periodic table app called TCT Lite,I got it because it had 400 stars beside it so it means it is probably useful. At the time I was tired of not being able to find the element I need on my periodic table, but on this app it gives me the element which are much easier to find and gives me more information than a normal paper periodic table. It’s faster, it’s more fun, and it gives you more information. It literally takes two taps on the screen to get to the app, and it has all the information for each element when you press on it. It could help to make my homework faster, I’ll learn about the elements more and it will be easier.

img_0241

Deliver: My plan was to have an app where it’s two taps away from my work, it is easy and it works. This is beyond working because it gives me all the info I need about the element, and it is really fast, and easy to understand.

Debreif: This app was really good, it helped me with all the things I mentioned earlier, the only thing I’d change is to make there a search to find elements to make it faster than it is. I learned that apps are a real big tool to make things easier and a whole lot faster.

You have 2 and 1 with addition, the denominators are the same. Why is it important to have the same denominators, because if you have 1/5 compared to 1/9 they are totally different numbers. 1/5 is 20/100, and 1/9 is about 13/

The denominator are the same 5 and 5, why is that important? Because if you don’t have them the same they are totally different numbers. 1/10 is 10/100 and 1/5 is 20/100. In the picture everything’s working the denominator are the same and billy spends 2$ out of his 5$ at the candy store and he  spends 1$ out of his 5$ at the dollar store he needs to find out how much he spent. 2/5+1/5 =3/5, he spent 60% of his money.

Digital footprint

img_0206img_0211

How might your digital footprint affect your future opportunities? Give at least two examples.

let’s say you made mistakes in your past and thought it would be “cool” to post it on social media, then later regret it and delete or maybe you don’t delete it. It will always be up there, then let’s say you want to work for a company such as Microsoft, you apply and they interview you and they will always look up your name, and they will see the stuff you did and they may not want you.

  1. I could apply for a job and they could see stuff suspicious about me because maybe I made wrong decisions or my friends did and then I will end up without a good job
  2. if I post good stuff like helping out with the community, or hanging out with family, school compitions, sports videos etc. They may be impressed and think I’m good and they will most likely want to employ me.

img_0207

Describe at least 3 Stadegies to keep your digital footprint appropriate and safe.

  1. Make right desicoins not only on your device but also in your everyday life because if you are good you won’t be bad on the web because you are already are not making mistakes. The reason they search up your name on the web is to see what you are like but if your good on media but bad in real life you may get fired, or maybe turned down at your interviews.
  2. think twice before you follow or post because it could effect you for life. Also there are online predators and if they get your information you will not be safe.
  3. post stuff that if you looked at someone’s account with that type of posts on there account you would be impressed and want to hire them as a boss.

img_0208

Refer to your social media as a safe, it has all your money and valuables in it. But once you start giving information, they end up opening your safe and stealing your valuable/ your not safe.

img_0209

What information did you learn that you would pass on to other students? How would you go about telling them?

I learned that I need to watch what I post, because it may be fun now but when I’m 30 it won’t be fun making 15/hr. Also if you post good posts universities or companies will want me more. I would tell the excactly what I learned, and said up above and also that it take a click of a mouse to ruin your life.

Adding and Subtracting Intergers

img_0151

1.) 5+11=16

2.)-5+-11=-16

2.) -5+-11=-16

-5--11=6 is the same as -5 + +11= 6 because when you have a negative getting subracted it turns into addition

3.)-5–11=6 is the same as -5 + +11= 6 because when you have a negative getting subracted it turns into addition

img_0162

4.) these two are the same because when you add a negative it means you use subration

4.) these two are the same because when you add a negative it means you use subration

5.) 5- -11 =16, when you subtract a negative it turns into a positive

5.) 5- -11 =16, when you subtract a negative it turns into a positive

6.) -5-11=-16 because when you subtracts a positive it subtracts also is it the same a adding negatives together

6.) -5-11=-16 because when you subtracts a positive it subtracts also is it the same a adding negatives together

7.) -5+11=6 because when you have a negative 5 then add 11 you take away 5 from 11

7.) -5+11=6 because when you have a negative 5 then add 11 you take away 5 from 11

What Statements are equivalent?

A,E or 1,5 because they both end up being addition with the same numbers.

B,D or 2,4 because they both end up being the same number just different way B is adding the negative on D is Subtracting the positive

C,G or 3,7 -5–11 is the same as -5 + 11 because when you subtract a negative it turns into addition so you end up adding the same numbers from the same numbers.

What did I learn?

I learned this all last year.

what do students need to know about adding and subracting Intergers?

Students need to know the adding and Subtracting rules like subracting a negative makes it addition and changes the number to a positive.
