Adverbs, adjectives, pronouns, and articles

In our project, we had to do adverb, adjectives, articles and pronouns. First, I will be explaining adverbs and how it works. An adverb is basically describing a verb but there are 5 different variants that you could describe it with. The five variants are Place, Manner, Time, Frequency and Purpose. They are all used to describe a verb but just in different ways. An example of an adverb is: “she hasn’t been showing up to school lately.” In that example the verb is lately because it is a form of time which is a part of an adverb of time. Next, we have adjectives. An adjective is a word that is describing a noun. There are many different types of adjectives but the main two are limiting adjectives and descriptive adjectives. An example of a deceptive adverb is “they are hungry because it is describing the noun and the pronoun is being modified. A Limiting adjective example is “Seven friends “because it is limiting the noun other than describing it. The next thing that we have are pro-nouns. Pro nouns are words such as me, she, his, them, herself, each other, it, what. Pronouns are often used to take the place of a noun, when the noun is understood. An example of that would be ‘John saw Karla and he waved at her “this is a pro noun because it uses the word, he and she to take place of the noun. Lastly, we have articles. An article is a word used to modify a noun, which is a person, place, object, or idea. An article is basically an adjective, which is any word that modifies a noun. Usually adjectives modify nouns throughout description, but Articles are used instead to point out or refer to nouns. There are only three article words the, a and an. An example of this is “The red cup” or” An apple is red”. Those are both is examples because they both have a part of the, an or a and it is modyfing it
