Mrs. White is the least likable character in the story because she’s greedy, mean and careless, that made her my least likable character. Mrs. White showed how greedy she was when she found out that her husband kept the monkey’s paw, this was an example of her being greedy because she was getting greedy when she remembered they only wished once to the monkey’s paw she was greedy about the other two wish. She also showed how mean she was until half way of the story when she found out that her husband kept the monkey’s paw and told her husband to wish for her son to live again and she kept shouting “Wish!” to her husband and forced him to wish for her son to live again. That was important because it showed how mean she was to her husband unlike in the beginning she was very nice and graceful until sergeant-major brought up the monkey’s paw. Mrs. White showed how careless she was when when she told her husband to wish for her son to live again and she didn’t care about the consequences that could happen to them, it was important because in the beginning she was not that careless. Mrs. White’s actions of being greedy, mean and careless made her my least likable character in the story.
