Chemical (Zinc Acetate)

Zinc Acetate is a salt with the formula of ZN(O2CCH3)2. Zinc Acetate is sold and can be found as a form of ointment. It is used for treating Wilson deseas for some patient. It is also used to relive pain like bug bite, burn, scrapes etc.

Zinc Acetate has some common side effects like nausea and vomiting. It is very dangerous if you put it on a large areas of your body and avoid contact with your eyes. Zinc Acetate is relatively nontoxic if used at a recommended dosage.

Keep Zinc Acetate away from kids, if a kid swallowed a Zinc Acetate get a medical help and contact the Poison Control Center right away.
