Year end reflection

I had a great year in english and I learned a lot. Some of the things I learned are how to write a thorough inquiry question and how to get good information from credible cites. This is an important skill as you need to get credible cites and information to answer an inquiry question, this skill can also help with essay writing and other projects. Another thing I learned is how to make good connections between self, text, and world in the Novel study unit. This helps us really connect with the book and you can understand the characters and plot better this way. The last thing I learned was how to write a proper essay. I struggled with essay writing last year but this really helped.

My fondest memory in english 9 was working in groups with other people like in the Shakespearean play. This was lots of fun and I liked working with other people to do well on a single project. It was also very helpful in the novel study when I needed help i could ask my group members. To succeed in english 10 next year I plan to work on my writing and answering any big questions with evidence. I think I had a very good year and I am hopeful for next year.
