Principles of Flight

Part – 1 Tumble glider

When the air has a higher velocity then divide in 2 direction which goes under and over the wing. The wind that goes over the wing travels in a higher velocity than the wind travelling under the wing. The slower the wind the higher pressure is produced, the faster the wind the lower pressure is also produced. The higher preasure pushes the lower pressure which creates Lift.

Here is a video that shows how Bernoulli’s Principle works

Part – 2 Paper rocket

1. In this video you will see how my rocket “BRUNT” being lunched on an angled direction.

2. The moment the rocket is being launched the force that creates the power is Thrust.
3. Lift and Drag is slowing the rocket down as the rocket was half-way up.
4. As the rocket begins to veer into another direction, which force is acting on the rocket? Explain why this is happening.
5. Did some rockets work better than others? How does the shape of the nose and fin effect the trajectory of the rocket? Having long pointy cone shape of tip and fin work and balanced on four sides of the paper rocket My rocket Explain in terms of the four forces that act on a rocket ship.
