As a British official, I realize there are many alternatives to governing Quebec. I have chosen the policy of Assimilation to ensure the colony is properly run.
Assimilation is when we make the French culture into British. We will also invite our other British immigrants to Quebec. If we did isolation, or letting the French Canadiens do what they’re doing, who knows what trouble they’ll come up with?! We’re kind enough to let them even stay here, and not deporting them off like the Acadians. There should be one culture, so everything stays organized (And cause ours’s is better). Since the French Canadiens and/or Natives peoples will join our British laws, customs, language, and religion it will be unlikely they’ll fight now, since we are all one.
As I have outlined above, I believe the best policy for governing Quebec is Assimilation. This will ensure that the colony will remain under British control and provide wealth for our glorious country.
