In this picture, it shows multiple ads for ovens. It shows how it’s ‘easy’ to use, and how it’s so ‘useful’. In the picture, there are also two woman there being happy and pretending to use the oven. They are shown wearing like a apron skirt or something, so I think it means its stereotyping that people still expect them to cook and take care of the house, because there are no men in the picture.

Definitely an interesting topic. You can look into the depictions of women in media and what that says about expectations of society. A survey of the different decades would be great. Even a comparison to womens’ gains in legal rights would be interesting to see. That would be perfect for continuity and change.
