After some thought, I believe that artists and writers can be just as important to society as scientists and engineers. Throughout my life, I have listened to music to help me go about my day. Some people can use art and literature as a way of coping with stress or hardship just as you would see a doctor if you are sick. Without music or any other art form, I think that life would be a lot more dull. Another reason I think that artists are just as important as scientists is because as a kid, I’ve learned many good morals from books and other forms of art. One could say that art and science go hand in hand. Without writers and artists, there wouldn’t be anything recorded and therefore it would be more difficult for people to learn about science, engineering and the like. Artists can paint pictures to help different people learn and understand concepts easier. In a way, they kind of go hand in hand.
