Modeling Polynomials

For the Algebra tiles red are positive and everything else are negative.

$(x-1)^2$

$x^2-2x+1$

$(x+1)^2$

$x^2+2x+1$

$(x-1)(x+1)$

$x^2-1$

The fourth question can not be represent by algebra tiles but by the rules I can fond out the simplist form of the equation.

$(x-1)^3$

$x^3-3x-1$

Math 10 honors Trigonometry

What I know about cos sin and and tan are they are a method of using the known length in right triangle to get one of the unknow angle in that triangle, and it’s a part of the trigonometry.

Math honor project-Garibaldi Lake

After extensive research me and my partner determine the possible danger can be caused by a breach on at the Garibaldi lake.

We determine the volume by assumpation it as a square base shape lake, using this method we determine the volume of the lake is 1.18286 km3,which is 1.18286e9 ton.

Math 10 honors measurement reflection

I learned that people started with no common units for measurement and then they agree up using a common unit with is the legth of king’s forarm, and I also learned that french create the metric unit during 1780s by using the 1/4 cencfruence 1/1000,000 of the earth for one meter

Math Honor 10 exponentialgraph

I learned from this activity when y=(1/2)x y can get very close the zero as the value of x decrease but y never=0
