# Modeling Polynomials

For the Algebra tiles red are positive and everything else are negative.

$(x-1)^2$

$x^2-2x+1$

$(x+1)^2$

$x^2+2x+1$

$(x-1)(x+1)$

$x^2-1$

The fourth question can not be represent by algebra tiles but by the rules I can fond out the simplist form of the equation.

$(x-1)^3$

$x^3-3x-1$

Just a note the traditionally the red tiles are used as negative. Use Pascals Triangle to expand (x-1)^3 and check your expansion here.
