This week we focused on three ways to solve a quadratic equation; Factoring (grouping like terms and isolating x) completing the square and using the Quadratic formula. The two new things we learnt were using the Quadratic formula and completing the square.
Completing the Square: used when you can’t factor the equation.
Using the Quadratic Formula: This formula is only used for irrational roots.
