Alone

Laughing, loving, living

Where did it go

My phone holds my dreams,

Shouldn’t my dreams be in the world?

Where there are relationships and real friends

Not the ones who like my Instagram post

I’m in a cell, looking out the window of possibilities

But my phone, oh how it brings me such joy

It teaches me what I should look like

How I should act and what to eat

But wait? What about my health?

But it’s worth it, I’ll get the boys

I’ve got 700 friends according to facebook

But none who I can truly trust

Looking up from my phone

I find I’m alone

Loneliness is all I find in the cell I created

How do I get out?
