In my first semester of math at Riverside, I have learned and reviewed new and old math units which I have developed the skill to be able to understand and solve math problems. I have accomplished being able to add and subtract exponents to being able to calculate the surface area of a rectangular prism. I have also learned how to divide and multiply polynomials and monomials. I have improved my studying tactics and I have been able to memorize math laws like BEDMAS. My goals for semester 2 are continuing to improve in the way that I study and prepare for tests and quizzes.  I will ask more questions when I’m unsure about anything and make sure to review the unit before moving on to the next. I will also try to practice equations that I seem to have trouble with and ask a friend to help test me. I will continue to improve my procrastination when doing homework and studying. Overall, I think I’ve learned a lot this past semester and will continue to learn a lot more.
