What did you learn about yourself & others from this Circle talk?

I learned that even tho I might not find my cultural background interesting, others are very interested as to where I come from. I’ve also learned that a few people in my class weren’t born in Canada and were brought into a very different lifestyle and languages, which is pretty cool. I learned that a lot have people have also gone through similar live experiences as me which is interesting to know because it shows that I am more alike to students in my classroom that I would know. It makes me sympathetic hearing about people’s lives and what they go through, which I believes brings the class to have a closer relationship and overall better environment. I enjoyed this activity and hearing about the similarities and differences between my classmates and I and I hope that I can continue to meet new people in this class to develop more friendships.
