Introduction to Watercolour
Introduction to Watercolour

PART A

You will need to learn 14 various watercolour techniques.  Use your sketchbook and select a new page.  Divide the page into 14 sections.  You can seperate the sections with tape or simply divide it by drawing the 14 boxes.

Now watch the video and do as it does.  Try to gt the same kind of effects that it shows.  You may need to do it a couple of times to be successful.

Label each technique.  Your sketchbook is your reference book so labeling each is important.

PART B

Now get a piece of watercolour paper.  Draw a shape 12 times on it (trace the first copy).  In each of the shapes do a different watercolour technique.  Cut the shapes out.  Mount them into an artful arrangement on a new piece of paper.  Voila – an artful presentation of watercolour techniques.Drawing & Painting-watercolour techniques_20160610_0001
