This week in math we started a new unit and it was an intro to Absolute value functions, this really changed things up and made graphs look crazy on desmos. When I say it looked crazy on demos it really does because when you have an equation like on a graph as shown right here
it changes with just adding the absolute value signs on the equation like so y=|6x+24|
As you can see on the graph it looks like it’s bouncing off of the x line and this is because when its an absolute value it can’t be negative therefore it will always reflect to the positive side no matter what.
