What is Solar Energy?
Solar energy is heat and light from the sun that is captured using a lot of different technology, like solar heating, photovoltaics, solar thermal energy, solar architecture, molten salt power plants, and artificial photosynthesis.
What are the advantages?
Renewable energy, reduced electricity bills, and low maintenance costs.
What are the disadvantages?
Cost, weather dependant, the storage is expensive and, requires a large amount of space.

Solar panels can produce power without direct sunlight.
Solar power can fuel airplanes.
The costs for solar panels have fallen 99% since 1977.
Solar energy is cheaper than fossil fuels.
Justin Trudeau, we should all be using solar energy because of its efficiency and costs. Imagine what our country would look like if our 22 nuclear power plants turned into solar panel farms, there would be less risk of a nuclear accident like in the past with Lake Ontario in 2009 or in the Pickering facility in Toronto 1979 and 1983.

I had to answer what is Solar Energy, its advantages, and its disadvantages.
I used different ways of researching on the internet and through some books at my house.
I just went step by step until I was happy with the results.

This challenge was fun, I learnt about solar energy which was exciting because it was new.
