One way your digital footprint may affect your future opportunities is what you post or what you look at on the web. I think its important you know what you look at and post because if you apply for a job, you don’t want past posts and things you look at to affect if you get hired or not.
A second way your digital footprint may affect your future opportunities is for collage applications. If your digital footprint is very positive it may help you get into the collage you want over another person who may have a negative footprint.

- I will watch what I say when I am messaging people and leaving
comments on videos and posts - Before I look at something I will think is this necessary to look at or is it not
- I will always think before I write
What information did you learn that you would pass on to other students? How would you go about telling them?
I would tell other students that your digital footprint is very important and has a big impact on your future. If you would like to get the job or opportunity you want, make sure you have a clean or positive digital footprint, so you have nothing held against you or no one has a leg up on you. I would tell my friends in a friendly conversation.
