This week and last week we have been learning about word problems. How they work, last week my blog post was on word problems and the vocabulary for them so those will help with figuring out the word problems and making them easier to make equations for because you already know keywords that have unique aspects to the word problems. This week we mostly focused on word problems but the word problems focused on distance, speed, and time.

Distance= speed * time

Speed= distance/time

time= distance/speed

Tim took a 1900 km trip, traveling by bus and plane. The bus averaged 60 km/h and the plane averaged 700 km/ h. If the trip took 5 h, how many kilometers did he travel by bus?
