Well, there are 9 different types of packaging there is Aseptic Processing, Trays, Bags, Boxes, cans, cartons, pallets and flexible packaging all of these are helpful when foods are packed, and it depends which food needs which packaging because some of the liquids need packaging that won’t pop or that wont leak. Foods are packaged in a bunch of different things like some foods are packaged in plastics, tin free steel, aluminum foils, and metals all of these helps keep the foods safe and non-leak able. I think all these materials were chosen because all of these materials can hold all the food and it can make sure that the foods that are kept in the packages can hold the foods and they pick these so that if the food is liquid then it won’t leak and that it won’t get with any other foods. Well, I think some pros are about packaging is that it keeps are foods safe and wrapped up, it lasts longer and stays fresh for a longer of time, it has more protection if maybe more people touch it or try to open it. Some cons are that sometimes the flavors are not what the food is supposed to taste like, and it might worsen the flavor of the food, sometimes it might be smooshed if it’s like fruit or vegetables maybe, it could get mixed with other foods. what happens to the foods after we done eating the foods inside, they shred the packaging and make it something else and some people use them for other things like maybe they will re-use them for other foods. well, most of the rest end up in landfills where it takes a long time to decompose and it will leak and leak into the soil and water. The foods that compose properly will create and make new plants and that will make fertilizer. What happens to food waste well this process happens naturally, and it is where the bacteria break down it breaks down to be organic materials, so we have an oxygen free environment.  I think the first way to use reusable bags instead of plastic bags because people just throw them away and some of the bags are found everywhere, we can also use reusable bottles and cups for when you are not home and out doing stuff and u can use metal straws instead of plastic or the papers ones because the paper ones just  melt and decompose.
