State the problem of this experiment: How many pennies can a tinfoil boat hold without sinking?

State your hypothesis for this experiment: I we have a larger base, the boat will have more to float on therefore it will be able to hold the most pennies.

How many pennies did your boat hold? 84 Pennies. 

What was your thinking/reasoning behind the design of your boat? The more surface area the boat has the more pennies that it will be able to hold. 

What would you keep/change on your boat design if you were to do this again? I would keep the base of the boat because the way we made it, it could support the pennies well.  The next time I would make the walls of the boat higher so the water doesn’t get in as fast.
