Jack Wang                                                                                   The King of Korean Restaurants

Octaber 1, 2018                                                                                Ta Bom Korean Cuisine

Food and You

Ta Bom Korean Cuisine on Robson Street in downtown Vancouver is an authentic Korean flavored restaurant popular in Canada. The interior of this restaurant follows the American club style to design, so inside the restaurant they use dim lights with pop music let it feel more cool. The décor and furniture they used are pretty fancy, also fully clean. At the bathroom they put the mouthwashes and hair dryer beside the sink for the customer to simply organize themselves. The service is very attentive and thoughtful, Their specialties “Hot Plate” and “Ta Bom Signature Hot Pot”, are two of the most popular dish in the restaurant. They use the special plate and pot from Korea. In the center of the plate, customer can pick more then two item for your meal with their special spicy Korean sauce, around the center they put Cheese, Corn, Chinese Steamed Egg, and Korean Kimchi. When the Cheese starts melting, they seems like they are having party in the broth there and dance around, the Corn under the light seems they are in the steam room sweating a lot. Korean Kimchi sour from scalp to toe, feel like you came out from the haunted house, Chinese Steamed Egg tastes like tofu, crisp egg skin on surface soft in inside, when you mix those thing all together in your mouth magical things happen inside. You will feel like all the food and so many flavor suddenly explore in your mouth screaming and dancing around having Carnival inside your body. If you finished half of it, you can order the “Fried Rice” They will put the rice in your meal and mix with the Korean special Korean sauce, Everything, including the tips and tax, is around 25 CAD for each person, compare to ingredients and the service they have, it is pretty reasonably priced for one meal. Because of their busy location, special Korean recipe, the restaurant atmosphere, and their service make people feel comfortable and relax to enjoy the meal. I hope many people come from afar just for this taste bud party.
