socials 10 goverment thing

  1. Do you think that governments today should be held responsible for decisions and actions taken by previous governments?

No they should not be help responsible for what other people have done in there time of rule but this dose not go to say they shouldt do anything about it at all cause yes they them selves are not responsible but should do something to show that they care or even aknolage what there protosessers have done wrong.

  1. Write a three paragraph response to the above question.  Your first paragraph should focus on the main arguments from one point of view, the second on arguments from the other and your final paragraph stating your position on the issue.

Yes they ar eat fault cause things today still have some of these things going around like people still get called thingd and people still get miss treated but the government just stands there and watches but on the other hand So if you say yes they should be held responsible for what there protosessers have done then why the goverments today have not done those things to why should they be to blame for something that they a have never done In there life so there is two sides me personally im with its not there fault cause they have tried to learn from what there protosessers have done and moved away frm there ways.

Multiculturalism

I discovered was a news report which displayed a discrimination act toward immigrants in Canada. A woman wearing a hijab was shopping with her infant at a London, Ont. supermarket when an angry assailant suddenly spat on her, punched her repeatedly and tried to pull off her headscarf. As an immigrant I find this event absolutely repulsive and I can’t imagine being a subject to so much bigotry.

In conclusion, I believe that Canada is a very multicultural country which accepts immigrants from all over the world. Unfortunately, there will always be certain individuals who will oppose change and be against the certain cultures.

Socials 10 Canada

1. Explain why you picked the resources that you did.

I picked a picture and a video cause I believe that these are the best ways to get your message out there.

2. How does this reflect your perspective of Canadian Identity? What is it about this resource that makes you think it is an accurate portrayal of Canada or being Canadian?

In both of these the picture and the video they show how I think about Canada and the people here in the video mostly if shows the positives and the negatives about Canada and being Canadian.

3. Pick either a different time period or different cultural background than your own. How do you think they would view the resources that you picked? Would their views of the resources be the same as yours? If not, how would they differ?

I think that just off the video they would get a good image in there mind about what Canada and it’s people have to offer.
