This week we started are exponent unit, we learned a lot but what stood out the most to me was combining all the exponent laws together to solve equations easier. M = Multiplication Law, D= Division Law, Z= Zero Exponent Law and PP (or p) = Power of a Power Law. (MDZPP) You can use this method anyway you’d like and the answer would be the same each time, but I usually go M,D,PP,Z. A lot of people do Power of a Power first but I don’t like seeing the big numbers on the paper so I leave it till the end.
