In this picture book we created seven images and wrote seven sentences to summarize the “Cremation of Sam McGee”. When we took these images we took into consideration the mood that was presented in the poem. We found that most of the poem was in a mysterious, sad mood but than in the last stanza it turned into shocked and happy. When we created the design (title page, background colour etc..) we tried to make it as though the colours added mood.
Thank you for posting your flip book, retelling a narrative poem as a story using the FlipSnack technology. Here are my observations regarding your work:
– Great job transferring methods of presentation (Google Slides > Flip Book > Embedded blog post)
– Embedded properly on blog, minimal description of the project included in the blog post
– Love the editing of the photos and the front cover
– Book looks professional with a combination of both text and photos
– Layout looks professional with balanced photos, colour schemes, matching fonts, etc.
Overall, I thought you did a very good job on this project!
