My name is Mrs. Graham: I am a teacher, but am also a student.  I have a husband, zero children, and a fish named Mary Jane. I love theatre, reading, and learning. I dislike country music.

I am going to be your teacher for the next six weeks, and then you will have Mr. Barrington back for the remainder of the semester. I have a Bachelor’s Degree (that’s four years of university) with a Major (that means that most of my courses were in this subject) in English and an extended minor in Theatre. I recently spent two months in India teaching English (yes, the same subject we are about to learn) in a school for Tibetan refugees. I am definitely qualified to be your teacher and hope that you are willing to have me as your teacher.
